Holy Week and Easter at St. Alban's

Whether you worship with us in-person or online, we welcome you and look forward to celebrating this holy season with you!

The Holy Triduum, or three days, are the most important observances in the  Christian faith. From Thursday through Saturday, we remember and follow the Passion of our Lord, which culminates in the celebration of his Resurrection on Easter Sunday. You and your loved ones are cordially invited to join us for worship this Holy Week and Eastertide.

Maundy Thursday April 1st 7:00 PM - Holy Communion Rite II Worship will be in-person and live-streamed via Facebook Live.

Good Friday April 2nd 12:00PM- Adoration of the Cross on the Labyrinth Join us for a Reading of the Passion. Pray at the foot of the cross. The Labyrinth and Memorial Garden will be open for prayer and meditation following the service. This service is in-person and not available via live-stream..

Good Friday April 2nd 7:00 PM - Liturgy for Good Friday Worship will be in-person and live-streamed via Facebook Live

Holy Saturday and Easter Vigil with the 3:33 Service April 3rd - A family-friendly celebration of Easter will begin with the traditional lighting of the Pascal Fire. The story of our salvation will be shared through the retelling of Bible stories. We will celebrate the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Communion. Worship begins in the Memorial Garden at 3:33 PM. This service is in-person and not available via live-stream.

Easter Sunday April 4th 7:30 AM Holy Communion Rite I
9:30 & 11:30 AM Holy Communion Rite II

Christ is Risen! Worship will be in-person for all three services. A live-stream of worship will be available for the 9:30 AM liturgy on Facebook Live


St. Alban's is committed to following COVID-19 prevention guidelines set forth by the Ohio Department of Health and The Episcopal Diocese of Southern Ohio. As such, we are asking all participants to wear masks, socially distance themselves, and follow the guidance of ushers and leaders at worship.

Due to social distancing guidelines, space is limited inside the church. We are asking all individuals to  express their intent to attend worship at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Services that will be held inside the church building.
