Marcy Edwards joined St. Alban’s in April 2023. She brings strong office management skills, keen attention to detail, and organizational expertise developed during her extensive career as an executive assistant in the legal sector, where she spent over 18 years at one of the largest law firms in Columbus, Ohio. Her diverse experience also includes roles in the Civil Rights Section of the State of Ohio, a Michigan police department, and other engaging and vital positions.
The Parish Administrator consistently maintains a presence in the office and represents our church by providing a ministry of welcome and hospitality to both members and guests. Additionally, Marcy’s key roles include supporting the ordained and lay ministers of St. Alban’s; overseeing daily operations, communications, record-keeping, and the church calendar and building use schedule; collaborating with the chair of the Building and Grounds Committee to facilitate necessary repairs; and serving as clerk of the Vestry.
Marcy is an active servant leader within her own church community. She describes herself as a woman of deep faith in Jesus, continually relying on the work of the Holy Spirit: “… one saved by love and filled with God’s love, striving to live in love toward God and others.”
Marcy has shared her life and journey with her soulmate and husband, Michael, for more than 38 years. She feels blessed to be called “mother” by two successful young adult sons, of whom she is very proud.
