Worship Services in the Episcopal Church always include readings from Scripture.
We hear readings from both the Old Testament and the New Testament as well as readings from one of the Gospels and (almost always) a Psalm.
These readings are usually read using a sequence called the Revised Common Lectionary shared by other denominations including Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist, United Church of Christ and Disciples of Christ.
You are encouraged to use whichever version of the Bible speaks most clearly to you.
