I am honored and delighted to announce that The Rev. Beth Turner has been called to be St. Alban’s next rector. She will join us on February 1, 2024. Pastor Beth has been rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Burnsville, North Carolina for the past 12 years. She has also served as Chaplain at Appalachian State University, as an assistant/curate in a parish, and on the Diocesan Regional Staff for the Diocese of Western North Carolina.
In responding to the call to be our next Rector, Beth was very complimentary of our search committee. Please thank them for their dedicated work over many months. They are: Chair Sal Piazza, Karen Brown, Jackson Cleland, Kent Holley, Robert Howarth, Greg Krabacher, Marikate Leavens, Bev Langley, and Christine Overway.
